WHY SHOULD I USE AN OUTSIDE BILLING COMPANY?

More Time for Patients: We focus entirely on the business side of medicine and let clients focus on their practice.

Whether you have an in-house billing staff or outsource your billing, you are paying for it. With an in-house staff, your costs are fixed with salaries, benefits, insurance, office space, additional telephones, desks, computers, paid vacations and sick days, etc, etc. PMB works on a percentage of gross revenue. We do not get paid until you do and you eliminate all those in-house billing department expenses.

Also, PMB has a full time staff to handle your account every day. Your patients phone calls about account balances, payment plans and insurance payments are always answered by one of our billing professionals with courtesy and respect.

What happens if your in-house biller is sick or on vacation or leaves the practice completely? Billing phone calls would have to be handled by others in the office, the entire billing process delayed and, most importantly, patient care could suffer as a result.

We have found that the increase in gross revenue experienced by many of our providers after they switched from in-house billing to PMB has often been as much as ten to fifteen percent.

WHAT DO YOU BASE YOUR CHARGES ON FOR HANDLING MY PRACTICE'S BILLING?

We work on a percentage of gross revenues actually collected on a monthly basis. The percentage varies from provider to provider and is based on many factors such as type of practice and the size of practice. PMB is never paid on any revenue not yet collected. We get paid after you get paid and there are no hidden fees.

We will create a tailored program that best meets the needs of your practice, which include establishing fee schedules and developing workflow processes necessary for rapid claims reimbursement. In almost all cases set up can be done remotely but if necessary PMB can come to you for set up and/or training.
